Clear Language Group member, Audrey Riffenburgh, was invited to be one of 11 health literacy professionals to present at the Institute of Medicine Roundtable on Health Literacy in April in Washington, DC. The discussion explored how organizations change in order to improve health literacy. Audrey was identified by colleagues in the field as a health literacy champion and implementer. She is the Senior Health Literacy Specialist for the University of New Mexico Hospitals in Albuquerque and a founding member of CLG.
